Rocket ship project
The rocket project is a big project for this quarter. We have to make our own rocket and a launcher, as well as make it hit the target. We used two chemicals which were vinegar and baking soda as fuel. In physics class, we focused on the angle and the structure of the rocket. Out best result was four out of five. From this project, it relates to the second ESLO which is innovative thinkers. We use our critical thinking to find a solution toward the problem we faced during the processes. We also designed our own rocket based on the information we found on internet.

In this unit, I learnt about electricity which includes the topics of columb's law, ohm's law, resistance, and parallel and series circuit. The project covers most of the topics and it helped me understand the lesson more. I have learnt the differences between parallel and series circuit. When we connect the electricity using a pararell circuit, each light doesn't depend on others in order to function properly. Consequently, when one light burns out the others can still light up. But for a series circuit, each light depends on the whole circuit in order to light up. We apply this concept while connecting the electricity in our project by using parallel circuits because they are more suitable. Normally in a house, we also use parallel circuits because when one of the bulbs burns out, the whole house still has light on.
