Nutrition project
In this unit, we have learnt about nutritions which include protien, cabrohydrate, vitamins, fiber, and fat. We learnt specific information for each of them and how to select the healthy ones to consume. After that, we tried to change our eating habit to be healthier and see how the nutrition we got changed. We also did many activities, for examples, writting food journal, and making a food recommendation for our friend.

This unit conects to ESLOs in two main topics. Firstly, strategic learners, I took the nutrition tracker to see what I got from the food I ate and tried to make it become healthier. This is related to this ESLO because I have learnt from my mistake and use it to improve my diet. I also made a diet recommendation which was practical for my friend so she could follow it as a plan. The recommendation I made was based on many sources, for examples, from the lectures, and reliable websites provided by the teacher. Secondly, Altruistic global citizens, this unit really promoted me to live in a healthy lifestyle. I tried to change my diet since it can have a lot of effects to my body in the long run.
Self-directed learning project
In this unit, learning how to learn, I decided to learn how to make a plushy which is a thing that I really wanted to be able to make for a long time. I had watched many video tutorials before but they all were just like a dream for me. They looked difficult and seemed to take a long time to finish. However, the Skills For Life class gave me a good opportunity to learn what I actually wanted. I had to plan the learning and monitor the progress by myself. I watched and learnt how to make a plushy from BudgetHobby youtube channel which has given me a lot of useful techniques and useful ideas. As a result, I’ve made three plushies and one video tutorial on how to make it.
Learning goal : The goal of this project is to be able to know how to make a simple plushy, including its procedure, and different types of stitching.

Before starting the project, I made my first mind map in order to know how much I know about making dolls. It can be clearly seen that I didn't know much about it and something I wrote was wrong. After I started the project for about half of the time, I did the second mind map. There was a lot more information in my head while I was doing it.

I recorded what I have learnt in this form. Firstly, I had to ask a question and then I would research and take some note in my own words. I also recorded what I have already known before. This record is my guideline to help me remember what I have learnt and prevent me from forgetting something. It also helped me know how much my progress is. This record shows what I have learnt because I have provided the information that I knew by using a pencil and what I've just learnt by using colours. I also categorised the things I know that I don't know and the things I didn't know that I didn't know by using different colors.

This powerpoint shows the processes while I was making dolls and how I tried to notice errors in order to improve my skills. I took pictures while I made the dolls and wrote some opinion about what I have made and learnt. This shows my learning by providing not only the evidences that I actually learnt buy also how I tried to develop myself.

The final product
I made a video tutorial on how to make a doll and I choose to make an octopus plushy. The reason why I choose to make the tutorial as my final product is that it can show that I actually learn and I am able to make real dolls by myself, as well as I can teach other people how to make it. I believe that if I can teach someone how to do something, it means that you actually know about it. Since I spent only about two months to learn, I still cannot do some advance stitches or a doll that is too complicated. Consequently, I choose to make an octopus which is a doll I know I can make well enough that I can show it to other people.

Final project
This is the final project of unit three, emotional intelligence. There are three main parts we had to do: goals setting, interviews, and a personal statement.
Setting goals to improve myself
In this part of the project, we had to set goals to improve ourselves. We had to make goals setting sheets which are consisted of the goals, obstacles and ways to tackle, feedback, and plans to improve. We needed to record what we did in the process journal. At the end of the project, we wrote a reflection reflecting on the project.

Interview
In the interview section, we have to improve our interview performance. Firstly, We recorded our first interview and then tried to find ways to improve ourselves. We also needed to record what we did in the process journal. Lastly, we did the second interview and saw the changes.

Personal statement
In addition to setting goals and improving the interview performance, we also had to write a personal statement which is really important for us because we need to use in for a university. We draft the first personal statement and tried to improve it. I chose to let other people read my personal statement and get feedback from them. Then I tried to use their comments as a guideline of what I should improve.
